The Story
Money is, at bottom, a story we agree to believe — a record of who is owed what, and a promise that the record will hold. For millions of families, that promise crosses oceans: money earned in one country, sent home to another, arriving in minutes where it once took weeks. This episode follows the threads of modern money movement to the people at either end of a transfer — the worker sending part of a wage home, the family building a future with it — and the network of trust in between. It is a story about technology and risk, but most of all about inclusion: what changes for a person the moment the financial world finally counts them.
